SPECTRA HR - High Resolution colour blister inspection:
The high-resolution inspection system SPECTRA HR is used for quality control in the pharmaceutical sector. By using 3CMOS cameras, it offers outstanding colour separation performance, allowing products with difficult colour and contrast conditions to be inspected. In combination with the largest software package, it enables unique inspection parameters and functions. Also the inspection of products products with minimal differences in colour and shape in the same blister at high speed. The all-rounder for every challenge.
CAPA - Track & Trace:
Customer safety is paramount in the pharmaceutical market. To protect them from deceptively genuine-looking counterfeit products, goods are tracked throughout the supply chain and production and shipment data is recorded. This starts at the packaging line and can be carried out throughout the entire logistics process. scanware offers flexible stations here for marking, sealing folding boxes, as well as data capture in the case, carton or package and on larger load carriers such as pallets. In addition, the comprehensive IMPERA software can be used to monitor the processes, control involved devices and data acquisition and multi-level linking. This gives you complete transparency for your products from the line, through shipment tracking in logistics, to the recipient.
IMPERA - Line management software:
The IMPERA management system is a comprehensive software for use on packaging lines. It monitors processes and controls all systems used.

Furthermore, the line manager takes over the data exchange between the producer’s database and the components, i.e. it imports the data from the producer’s database, processes them and transfers them back after completion. This enables the producer to implement serialisation requirements laid down in the European pharmaceutical directive EU/2011/62.

Likewise, the IMPERA line management system creates complex, multi-level data links to ensure the traceability and re-traceability of processes.

The software supports all international coding standards and is modular in design so that the customer can configure and upgrade it as required. Communication takes place via VDMA XML protocol, XML and CSV files.
SPECTRA 3D - 3D blister inspection:
The high-resolution, laser-based SPECTRA 3D image processing system is used to check the geometry of the film and product for undesirable deformations of any kind, such as pressure marks, bulges or chipping. Thus, it offers unique security for product inspection in the pharmaceutical packaging industry. Thanks to the use of the real-time operating system QNX, the camera system works with the highest speed and safety. The combination of high-quality hardware and sophisticated software means that the three-dimensional blister inspection offers producers of sophisticated products inspection possibilities like no other.
SPECTRA CL - Colour blister inspection:
The SPECTRA CL optical colour blister inspection is used to detect undermixing, size, position, fragments and overfilling of products on packaging machines. It is the ideal solution for standard colour inspection tasks. Correctness of the different colours by means of RGB values is displayed in real time - making safety in the packaging process child's play.
SPECTRA BW - Black & White blister inspection:
The SPECTRA BW black-and-white blister inspection inspects a number of product-specific criteria of pharmaceutical products – for example presence, position and shape as well as overfilling and broken pieces. The black-and-white system is a cost-effective solution for production lines in the pharmaceutical industry where under-mixing can be ruled out due to technical conditions, such as in mono-lines. Software and hardware can be upgraded to colour blister control at any time for colour detection.
SIGNUM HR - Print inspection:
The powerful greyscale system SIGNUM HR can be used for the inspection of complete print images (OCR/OCV) on a wide variety of packaging.

This complete solution offers producers or packagers of a wide variety of products in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries the highest recognition performance in the ongoing packaging process at high speed. The recognition performance, the range of functions and the ease of use are in no way inferior to the outstanding feature-based character recognition.
SIGNUM 1DC/2DC - Barcode and data-matrix inspection:
The SIGNUM 1DC / 2 DC inspection system is a system for the inspection of codes that is used, among other things, on packaging machines in the pharmaceutical industry, but also in the food and cosmetic industries.

The intelligent cameras evaluate prints of 1D and 2D codes with exceptionally high reading performance. The optionally available control unit includes a PLC to enable retrofitting to an existing system.

The comprehensive software features enable producers and packagers to optimally evaluate even difficult optical conditions. In addition, scanware offers analysis tools that enable error analysis and thus the reduction of reject.
SIGNUM CL - Ring code inspection:
The SIGNUM ring code inspection is a high-resolution colour inspection system for inspecting ring codes on ampoules and vials. In this way, the producer can exclude the possibility of under-mixing or the distribution of defective products.

The system can be used for the inspection of single ampoules as well as for the inspection of several different products in blisters or trays.
PATERA - Parenteral inspection:
PATERA Parenterals is used on packaging and labelling machines to eject defective products and to exclude the possibility of sub-mixing with foreign products. The system inspects pharmaceutical packaging for injection purposes such as ampoules, vials, syringes and carpules whose contents are administered bypassing the digestive tract, i.e. by injection. For this inspection task, scanware has developed a new user interface based on artificial intelligence (AI).
FOCON Foil- Pore Detection:
The optoelectronic inspection system detects pores and micro-cracks in aluminium foils up to one metre wide. It is installed across the running direction of the foil lane, usually between the forming and filling stations.

If pores are detected, the system gives a signal so that filling is suppressed and ejection takes place.

The Pore Detection Unit enables the producer and packer to increase productivity, is easy to install, robust, fail-safe and keeps pace with high belt speeds.
Spectra Bulk-QI:
The SPECTRA Bulk QI Inspection system is developed for the detection of
wrong colour, broken products and foreign matter in pharmaceutical products
packaged in bulk. For this application, the product inspections SPECTRA
Colour or SPECTRA High Resolution can be used, either as single or multiple
camera solution. This solution can operate on all common slat counters. The
quality inspection is continuous right through to the rejection station.
