Founded in 1885, Oriental Motor is the oldest motor manufacturer in Japan.
The modern form of the company was founded in 1950 with the development of Japan's first standardised compact motor design.

Today Oriental Motor supplies manufacturers worldwide through our global sales network, fulfilled by our 9 manufacturing facilities in Japan.

Closed Loop Stepper Motors:: Equipped with a multi-turn mechanical absolute encoder. Capable of high speed, high accuracy, complex motion profiles without the need for external sensors. Available with industry fieldbus systems, including EtherCAT and Ethernet IP.
Open Loop Stepper Motors:: Excellent build quality with industry leading low vibration levels and smoothness.
AC Induction Motors:: High efficiency motors with IP66 and IP67 ingress protection options. Speed control, reversible, EM brake, torque control, options available.
Brushless DC Motors:: High speed, high torque, and highly energy efficient motors in a very compact size. Easy to use, with excellent speed and torque stability. Available with IP66 and IP67 ingress protection options.
Electric Linear Actuators:: Driven by our flagship absolute encoder equipped stepper motors, capable of high speed, high accuracy, complex motion profiles without the need for external sensors. Available with industry fieldbus systems, including EtherCAT and Ethernet IP.
Electric Rotary Actuators:: Driven by our flagship absolute encoder equipped stepper motors, capable of high speed, high accuracy, complex motion profiles without the need for external sensors. Available with industry fieldbus systems, including EtherCAT and Ethernet IP.
Servo Motors:: High quality servo motors ideal for high speed, high torque applications.
Industrial Fans:: Axial fans, cross flow fans, and centrifugal blowers.
