We are highly-regarded and respected in the machine tool market and across all the manufacturing sectors we serve (i.e. aerospace and defence; power generation; motorsport; oil and gas; medical; automotive and general precision component manufacture), to name but a few.

Our reputation is built on the quality, reliability and performance of the DN Solutions machine tools we sell – machines that include the iconic Puma and Lynx lathe brands, and equally popular and successful DNM and Mynx vertical machining centres, and DBC horizontal borers.

This reputation is further enhanced by a range of quality services we provide and deliver. Ask any of our customers why they invested in a DN Solutions machine tool from Mills and they will invariably mention our pre- and after-sales services as being an important and often a decisive factor in their decision-making.

Key pre- and after-sales services ranked by customers:

Mills CNC machine tool service and servicing
CNC Programmer and Operator Training delivered by the CNC Training Academy
Mills CNC Finance
Mills CNC spare and replacement parts

Doosan Machine Tools:
Doosan machine tools provide manufacturers with best-in-class performance, high-productivity and exceptional accuracies.
The Doosan range is impressive, and its depth and breadth is second to none. As a consequence, this makes Mills CNC’s machine tool portfolio one of the most comprehensive available in the market and means that whatever type of CNC machine tool you’re searching for, it’s more than likely that we have a Doosan machine that will more than meet your requirements.

Check out the different Doosan machine tool technology types below.

Doosan lathes and turning centres
Doosan mill-turn multi-axis machines
Doosan vertical machining centres
Doosan horizontal machining centres
Doosan 5-axis machining centres
Doosan double-column milling machines
Doosan horizontal borers
Automation:
Automation systems and solutions increase the productivity of your machine tools and help manufacturers acquire, and maintain, their competitive advantage.

Mills CNC has a long history of supplying automation solutions to customers.

At its most simple, these solutions have included supplying a range of ancillary equipment to customers to help them increase their Doosan machine tools’ performance. This has involved delivering and integrating bar-feeders to CNC lathes and mill-turn machines and supplying 4- / 5-axis units for machining centres.

Mills CNC is also involved in delivering more complex automation solutions – often as part of a customer’s turnkey or process improvement project.

Solutions here have included the supply and integration of multi- and linear pallet systems, automatic work-piece pallet changers and industrial robot systems to create flexible, autonomous manufacturing cells.

Automation systems, whether complex or simple, are designed to provide manufacturers with improved productivity, reduced labour costs, improved quality and flexibility and the ability to meet stringent lead times.

Mills CNC application engineers are highly skilled and have the expertise to design, develop and install bespoke ‘best-in-class’ automation systems and solutions for customers.
Collaborative Robot Solutions:
Mills CNC Automation is an agent for Doosan Robotics, part of the Doosan Group, and supplies its range of advanced, high-performance collaborative robots into the UK and Ireland.

There are four different collaborative robots (cobots) in the range.

These cobots are versatile, easy-to-install and use, incredibly safe and competitively-priced. They are designed to perform a range of tasks that include CNC machine tool tending, testing and inspection – through to packaging, palletising, assembly and ‘pick and place’ operations.

All cobots are equipped with 6-axis articulated arms with highly-sensitive torque sensors that detect changes in force and pressure, which causes them to stop.

As well as different capacity (payload and reach radius) arms – all cobots are supplied with a state-of-the-art controller, a sophisticated Teaching Pendant and a number of options that include a dress pack, a water jacket and a mobile base unit.

The four cobot models are:

– M0609: 6kg payload; 0.9metre reach radius
– M1509: 15kg payload; 0.9metre reach radius
– M1013: 10kg payload; 1.3metre reach radius
– M0617: 6kg payload; 1.7metre reach radius
