We offer you our many years of expertise to reliably solve your barcoding, machine vision and verification needs. The main value we offer our customers is on the technical side of machine vision and barcode scanning. This is where we have over 35 years’ experience of the Omron Microscan range and in particular in reading difficult to read DataMatrix barcodes.

We can advise you on the best products, source, install and integrate, ie do as much or as little as you need us to do.

We are suppliers of OMRON/Microscan barcode readers and machine vision cameras; the sole UK distributors of HONEYWELL scan engines; distributors of AXICON verifiers; authorised resellers for ZEBRA and DATALOGIC.

We also develop, manufacture and install products such as our Checkrite system used in packaging and label validation. We offer off-the-shelf products as well as bespoke systems, and can advise on and supply associated accessories such as cables and mounts.

Barcode Readers and Machine Vision Cameras:: Identify Direct advises on and supplies BARCODE READERS, SCAN ENGINES and MACHINE VISION CAMERAS and accessories to Resellers, OEMs and End Users.

Identify Direct have significant and valuable experience in Machine Vision and barcode scanning, in particular with OMRON/Microscan products and HONEYWELL scan engines.

We encourage our customers to ‘tap into’ this experience to choose the best product for their Barcode, Machine Vision and Auto ID needs.

We can also install the equipment on site, for the customer, to ensure a long lasting and reliable solution. This ensures our customers get rapid Return On Investment as well as improving quality and customer satisfaction.
Barcode Validation and Verification Equipment:: We supply and support leading Barcode VERIFICATION systems, including NIST-traceable calibration conformance. VERIFICATION involves measuring and grading the quality of a printed barcode according to international ISO/IEC standards and is a rigorous off-line process. Our main focus is on Axicon and Omron verification systems, which are well-established leaders in the field and can reliably deal with all levels of product packaging.

We also build, supply and support our own Checkrite VALIDATION system, used in 'track and trace' in factory management systems as well as being a stand alone system for packaging and label validation (right label on right package). VALIDATION is an on-line process that prevents mis-labelling by checking that a barcode is present, that it can be scanned and that it matches the barcode expected during a particular production batch.
