Fresh produce and meat producers are invited to learn about end-of-line packaging solutions

Lan Handling Technologies is holding a two-day event at its Halfweg, the Netherlands site to cover the latest insights and developments in end-of-line packaging options.

Taking place on May 11 – 12, this end-of-line edition to the Expert Days run by the company will cover technology from Lan Handling, but also include presentations from several other PPMA member companies including B&R Automation, Fanuc, and Multivac. In addition, the doors of the new workshop will be open for the first time.

Participants will be able to see various handling systems in action for both potatoes and meat products including dolly/crate loaders, crate erectors, robot cells and palletisers. Workshops about Lan’s Industry 4.0 vision and a future-proof service approach will also be covered, as will potential future developments. These include adaptive manufacturing and robot integration for smart manufacturing.
